Job Description
- Be the first point of contact for all HAM- Admin related enquiries for assigned function.
- Interpret and administer expatriate-related documentation to assigned employees
- Obtain information on scheduled trainings for assigned employees and monitor to ensure attendance.
- Receive, collate and process expatriate employee requests for annual vacation (and other requests) and participate in coordinating the application and approval process.
- Ensure the database is up to date and contains accurate information on expatriate employees within assigned function:
- Periodically request for expatriate VISA and related information update.
- Update expatriate employee records with respect to vacation, training, promotion, exit, etc.
- Perform periodic checks to identify and resolve issues of discrepancies in employee information.
- Manage employee communication and feedback within the assigned function company meetings, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, etc.
- Circulate relevant policy manuals to employees in the assigned function and provide clarifications as required.
- Investigate issues of non-compliance, complaints, etc. and escalate to the Head, HAM for appropriate decision making and resolution.
- Participate in the disciplinary process for employees within the assigned function and develop relevant documentations.
- Manage the unit’s budget and obtain approval for expenditure as defined in the approved manual of authority.
- Develop and submit periodic reports of the section activities in the assigned function to the Head, HAM.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree or its equivalent in Humanities or Social Sciences related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, with about two (2) years in a liaison officer role.
- Good knowledge of immigration process and VISA processing
- Professional qualification in HAM Management
