1. PR and Communication Officer
- Education: BA/MA in Public relations, Journalism, Communications, Foreign Language, or related fields of studies
- Experience: A minimum of 6/4 years of relevant work experience in a donor funded projects
Skills required:
- Competence in MS Office, publishing, graphic design, etc…
- Use of social media and training in media relations
- Standard public speech, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
Language: Proficiency in the English language and knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an asset.
Duty station: Addis Ababa and it may require travel in the Horn of Africa region
2. Senior Research and Fundraising Officer
- Education: MBA/MA/MSc in Economics, Regional Development Planning, Policy Analysis and Management, Disaster Risk Management,
- Experience: A minimum of 7/5 years of relevant experience in an NGO/donor funded projects.
Skills required:
- Research project proposals writing skills
- Research paper writing, publications and research database management skills
- Competence in MS Office and good knowledge and skill in research data analysis software, modelling software, etc…
- Familiarity with scientific journals and publishers
- Project management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of international development issues
- A strong communication skill with good command of written and spoken English is mandatory
Duty station: Addis Ababa and it may require travel in the Horn of Africa region
3. Finance Manager
Education: MA/MSc/BA Degree and above in Accounting and Finance
Relevant Work Experience: At least 10/12 years with proven track record and experience in financial management of INGOs that are executing regional or international programmes involving multiple disciplines and partners from the public, civil society organization; private and non-governmental sectors in the Horn of Africa.
Skills required:
- Well acquainted with compliance requirement of grants by international organisations and UN funded projects/programmes
- Able to use financial software like SAP, Sunsystem, Peachtree Accounting, Quick Book,
- Advanced excel analytical tools like Pivotal table, V-Lookup, charts and conditional statements (IF, Sumif, sumifs etc.)
- ACCA-Professional Level
Duty station: Addis Ababa and it may require travel in the Horn of Africa region
