Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Afan Oromo Teacher to design and deliver engaging lessons that support language mastery and promote appreciation for Oromo culture and literature. The ideal candidate will guide students toward fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality interactive lessons for different grade levels

Develop and implement a complete Afan Oromo curriculum

Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects

Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment

Integrate Oromo history, culture, and literature into the language program

Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and parent–teacher conferences
About You
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Afan Oromo, Education, Linguistics, or related fields
-
Valid teaching license or certificate
-
Proven teaching experience in Afan Oromo
-
Native or near-native fluency in Afan Oromo
-
Strong command of English
-
Excellent communication and classroom management abilities
