📌 Position Overview
Droga Pharma PLC is a fast-growing pharmaceutical importer, distributor, and commission agent operating across Ethiopia. Established in April 2015 with just two employees, the company has expanded to over 400 professionals from diverse backgrounds. As part of its continued growth, Droga Pharma PLC is launching a nationwide chain of pharmacies and strengthening partnerships within the pharmaceutical sector, including Bio Pharmaceuticals.
We are currently seeking a creative and technically skilled Cameraman to support our marketing, branding, corporate communication, and digital media initiatives.
🎥 Position Summary
The Cameraman will be responsible for producing high-quality video and photographic content that aligns with the company’s brand identity and communication objectives. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in both studio and field environments.
✅ Key Responsibilities

Operate professional video cameras, drones, and photography equipment for events, interviews, product shoots, and corporate activities

Capture visually compelling footage that meets brand and project standards

Ensure correct framing, lighting, sound quality, and stabilization in all recordings

Conduct pre-shoot equipment checks (batteries, SD cards, lenses, lighting kits, audio gear)

Coordinate with video editors to transfer, organize, and archive raw footage

Contribute to visual storytelling through shot selection, sequencing, and transitions

Assist with basic video editing tasks when required

Collaborate with marketing, digital, and creative teams on video concepts and execution

Participate in content planning meetings and provide technical input

Follow shooting schedules, scene lists, and creative briefs accurately

Maintain and properly handle cameras, drones, lighting, and audio equipment

Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots

Stay up to date with emerging video trends, tools, and social media best practices
👤 About You
-
Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Journalism, or a related field (preferred)

0–1 year of experience in videography, cinematography, or related roles

Strong interest in visual storytelling and digital media production
🛠 Technical & Professional Skills

Proficiency in DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and audio equipment

Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)

Solid understanding of composition, lighting techniques, and camera movement

Video and photo editing skills

Project and campaign coordination

Social media and digital communication integration

Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills

Ability to adapt visual content for social media platforms
