JaRco implements large-scale evaluations, baseline assessments, and data quality assurance activities across Ethiopia and other African countries.
Job Summary
The Data Collector / Enumerator will be responsible for conducting surveys with selected participants based on approved sampling plans and data collection protocols. The role involves administering digital questionnaires, supporting field logistics, and ensuring high-quality data collection.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveys using structured questionnaires through digital data collection tools such as CommCare.

Ensure informed consent is obtained from all study participants before interviews.

Conduct interviews professionally, respectfully, and neutrally.

Accurately record responses in digital survey platforms.
-
Upload completed survey data on time according to project guidelines.
-
Report challenges or inconsistencies encountered during fieldwork to supervisors.

Assist in identifying study participants and scheduling interviews when required.

Support pilot testing of survey tools during the training phase.

Follow all ethical standards, safeguarding policies, and data protection procedures.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in one of the following or related fields:

Additional Requirements

CGPA: 3.25 or above

Exit Exam Score: 65% or above
Work Experience

Early to mid-career professionals with up to six years of experience in field research or survey data collection.

Experience in household data collection is preferred.

Familiarity with digital data collection tools (CommCare preferred).
