Role Overview
EDR is seeking motivated and professionally committed graduates to join as Train Crew Members. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a career in the railway industry. Successful candidates will ensure the safety, comfort, and security of passengers while upholding EDR’s corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure passenger safety and deliver excellent customer service throughout journeys.

Conduct pre-departure cabin inspections and make safety announcements.

Assist passengers during boarding, disembarking, and with inquiries.

Verify tickets and manage onboard documentation.

Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies on board.

Maintain effective communication with train drivers and station personnel.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university in Ethiopia or Djibouti.

Academic Performance: Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or above.

Languages: Multilingual ability is a strong advantage.

Age: Between 20 and 28 years.

Health: Full health and physical fitness, able to stand, walk, and handle luggage for extended periods.

Mobility: Willing to work at any of the 20 passenger stations along the EDR line.

Experience: No prior work experience required.

Mandatory: National ID must be provided during online registration.
