About the Job
The Field Sales Officer plays a crucial role in driving sales initiatives and fostering relationships within the community for Gift Business Group. This full-time position is designed for candidates at the junior level with 1-3 years of experience. Based in the office in Addis Ababa, the Field Sales Officer will promote our products and services effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to networking and coordination to achieve sales targets and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with CSOs, networks, and local community initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing campaigns to maximize outreach.
- Conduct market research to understand community needs and preferences.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and report on progress against targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize and participate in community events to promote products and services.
- Manage and update customer databases and sales records.
- Provide feedback on product performance and customer insights to inform strategy.
Required Skills:
- BA degree in Marketing Management or related Social Science field of study with 1 (one) year and above work experience in field sales officer/consultant.
- Effective networking abilities to establish and maintain professional connections.
- Proficient in engaging with diverse community groups and understanding their needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales objectives.
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.
