Join Hexagon Computer Systems, a leading Ethiopian technology company established in 2009 G.C., specializing in preventive and corrective IT support, network infrastructure, web design, and CCTV supply and installation.
We are looking for fresh graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to kickstart their careers as IT Support and Network Engineers. This role offers hands-on experience in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and network design within a professional and fast-paced environment.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
🧰 User & Technical Support

Respond promptly to user inquiries and technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks.

Provide solutions via phone, email, or in-person support to ensure client satisfaction.

Manage and track open support tickets through to resolution.
-
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot returned products.
-
Offer technical guidance and training to colleagues and clients.
🖥️ System Installation & Maintenance

Design and install computer networks, cabling, and connections.
-
Inspect and maintain LAN infrastructure to ensure optimal reliability.
-
Configure software, repair hardware, and maintain peripheral devices.
-
Schedule and perform upgrades and maintenance with minimal operational disruption.

Conduct regular data backups to safeguard company information.

Evaluate and enhance network performance for long-term efficiency.
🧩 Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

Identify, analyze, and resolve complex system, software, and hardware problems.

Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

Provide occasional out-of-hours service support when needed.
🔒 Security & System Management

Support implementation of IT security policies and protocols.
-
Manage and track hardware/software assets.

Assist in maintaining Intruder Alarm Systems, IP Surveillance, and Access Control Systems.

Prepare commissioning and handover documentation including as-built drawings.
🤝 Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with the sales team to analyze client needs and develop project plans.

Attend internal meetings and report on technical activities.

Participate in early morning meetings (7:00 AM) when required.

🎓 About You
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

No prior experience required — ideal for fresh graduates under the age of 26.
Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

Solid understanding of networking and computer hardware.

Experience with solar/inverter systems is an advantage.

Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.

Proficiency in remote support tools (e.g., ZenDesk, FreshDesk).
