Job Purpose:
A junior Financial Accountant is a responsible for gathering and monitoring financial data, preparing accurate statements, forecasting costs and revenues, managing tax payments, and conducting internal audits. They ensure compliance with accounting regulations, reporting to tax authorities and support the company’s financial decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues, cost validity and liabilities)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Manage tax payments
- Organize internal audits
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
- Analyze financial trends
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Follow-up and update tax clearance, bid bond, and advance bond.
- Attending revenue office training and meetings, update latest tax regulations and document MOM.
Experience
- 1-2 years in the same field
Having accounting related certificates preferably peach-tree
Requirement Skill
Communication
Peachtree software application skill is preferable
