The Eye Centre offers state-of-the-art diagnostics, comprehensive eye examinations, and advanced vision correction treatments and procedures for various eye diseases and disorders. WGGA is committed to delivering patient-centered care for all ages, from newborns to adults, and to building the capacity of Ethiopian Ophthalmologists and allied ophthalmic professionals.
Position: Junior Optometrist
Term of Employment: Permanent

Job Summary
We are seeking qualified and motivated Optometrists to join our dynamic team. Candidates passionate about eye care and committed to delivering exceptional patient service are encouraged to apply.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health, and detect abnormalities.

Diagnose refractive errors and advise patients on appropriate lenses.

Recommend vision therapy or low-vision aids when necessary.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations.

Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Optometry with a valid license (fresh graduates are welcome).

Strong diagnostic and communication skills.

Proficiency in using modern optometric equipment.
