Job Summary
As a Math Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and inspiring a genuine love for mathematics. You’ll design engaging lessons, apply innovative teaching techniques, and foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills among your students.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning:

Develop and deliver weekly lesson plans aligned with LionHeart Academy’s curriculum and academic standards.

Create hands-on and inquiry-based activities that deepen mathematical understanding.
Instructional Delivery:

Teach mathematics across various grade levels using clear, interactive, and engaging methods.

Integrate technology, manipulatives, and real-world examples to enhance classroom learning.
Student Development:

Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
Assessment and Reporting:

Conduct regular quizzes, tests, and projects to evaluate student understanding.

Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
Classroom Management:

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect and participation.

Professional Growth:

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.

Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience teaching mathematics at the primary or secondary school level.

Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
