PSS TRADING PLC was established by five Banks and Premier Switch Solutions (PSS), a leading provider of payment technology solutions in Ethiopia. The company offers a wide range of products and services including blank cards, ATM terminals, POS terminals, software solutions, IT infrastructure supply, electronic office equipment, computers, security and network devices, as well as technology consulting and training.
Currently, PSS Trading PLC has the following vacant position and invites qualified applicants who meet the listed requirements and experience to apply.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in software development project feasibility studies.

Support business requirement gathering, software design, coding, testing, and commissioning.

Assist in writing and maintaining code.

Maintain and upgrade existing software.

Assist in identifying areas for modification in existing programs and develop necessary changes.

Ensure software, codes, patches, versions, and releases are properly documented and controlled.

Ensure proper maintenance and storage of source codes.
-
Provide support for escalated software-related issues within established SLAs.

Assist in preparing project plans and design work for successful software delivery.

Prepare training materials and user guides for developed software and conduct training sessions.

Stay updated with industry software trends and new technologies.

Learn source codes of all software programs to enable troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot and fix minor bugs.

Conduct development and performance tests.

Prepare periodic reports.
-
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
About You
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

This is an entry-level position; no prior experience required.

Graduates of 2024/2025 with a CGPA of 3.00 & above and Exit Exam pass mark are eligible.

Additional exposure to Python and Android technology is considered a plus.
