About the Role
Droga Pharma PLC—one of Ethiopia’s leading importers, distributors, and commission agents of pharmaceutical and healthcare products—is hiring a Sales & Customer Service Officer for its Megenagna branch. Established in 2015 with two employees, the company now has 400+ staff and is expanding its nationwide pharmacy chain.
With a strong local presence and partnerships with biopharmaceutical companies, Droga Pharma continues to grow its retail and distribution network.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers professionally and courteously.

Capture customer information, manage loyalty program registrations, and perform follow-up communication to build a strong returning customer base.

Listen attentively to customer concerns—often sensitive—and provide supportive, trust-building solutions without aggressive selling.

Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.

Maintain high energy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to engage new customers and handle busy periods smoothly.

Achieve personal and store-level sales targets.

Promote new arrivals and special offers to improve sales performance.

Support stock handling activities: receiving, organizing, arranging, and displaying products.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.

Stay updated on cosmetics and nutrition product features, trends, and benefits.

Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Assist in designing attractive displays for promotions and new items.

Collect customer feedback and share insights with management.

Resolve customer complaints professionally and effectively.

Process sales transactions (cash & digital) accurately and prepare daily sales reports with minimal variances.

Maintain a polished, professional appearance and represent the brand image in a positive, wellness-focused manner.
About You

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management or related fields

Experience: 0–1 year
-
Experience in cosmetics or nutrition sales is highly preferred

Must reside in the Megenagna area
