Job Title: School Nurse

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries of staff and students.

Safely keep and administer medications.

Accompany and take ill or injured students and staff to the hospital when required.

Maintain accurate and updated medical records.
-
Attend school sports fixtures as an onsite nurse and handle sports-related injuries.

Support other department staff with reasonable non-nursing or health and safety-related tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Training
-
Diploma or BSc in Nursing.
-
COC Certification.
Skills and Knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Caring and reassuring approach in treating students.
-
Ability to remain in control during emergencies, act quickly, and direct others effectively.
-
Professional behavior and high standards of dress.
