Sele Enat Charitable Organization (SECO) is an Ethiopian, child-focused, indigenous, not-for-profit NGO established in 2002. The organization is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable community members—particularly orphaned and vulnerable children—through a range of care models, including:

Family-based care: family preservation and strengthening, reintegration and reunification, kinship care, foster care, and domestic adoption.

Community-based care: supported independent living.

Residential care: providing essential services when alternative care options are not immediately available.
SECO also empowers women economically through skills training and seed funding to help generate income, striving to ensure a brighter future for children and families in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities
The Social Worker will support SECO’s core programs through direct case management and field activities, including:

Conducting psychosocial assessments for vulnerable children and families.

Developing, implementing, and monitoring individual care plans.

Supporting family tracing, reunification, and family preservation and strengthening efforts.

Preparing clear, accurate case stories.
-
Providing supportive counselling and linking beneficiaries to resources.
-
Maintaining confidential and accurate documentation and reports on case progress.
Salary: Based on the organization’s scale.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Degree in Social Work.

Work Experience: 0 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
