About the Job
Sandford International School is seeking a dedicated and competent Teaching Assistant to support lead teachers in providing a high-quality learning experience for students.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children of varying ages and educational needs, offering one-on-one or small group support to help them understand lesson materials. You’ll also assist lead teachers with lesson planning, classroom organization, and student engagement activities.

Job Brief

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans.

Set up class materials and equipment (e.g., projectors, lab kits).

Record and track student attendance and schedules.

Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring to reinforce lessons.

Supervise and guide students during field trips and activities.

Ensure classrooms remain safe, clean, and organized.

Help teachers with grading, reporting, and communication with parents.

Observe student behavior and report any concerns to the lead teacher.
About You
Qualification:

Diploma in Education from a recognized college or university.
Experience:
-
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant.
Skills & Attributes:

Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Familiarity with school administrative tasks and learning methods.

Good spoken and written English skills.

Calm, positive, and approachable attitude.
