1.PROJECT OFFICER – CLIMATE RESILIENT LIVELIHOODS
PURPOSE
The purpose of the position is to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of the climate adaptive resilience building project to which he/she is assigned. Among other things, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing tasks, of community mobilization and capacity building, identifying factors of local vulnerability and implementing measures of climate adaptive resilience building, facilitate the implementation of natural resource conservation and ecosystem restoration and functionality initiatives, promote natural resource based green enterprises and related on/off farm livelihood diversification activities, enhance agro-ecologically and nutrition sensitive food production, facilitate market linkages and value chain empowerment of communities, and liaise with the relevant stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Qualification – M.Sc/B.Sc in Environmental Science, NRM, DRM, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Experience – 3/6 years relevant experience

2. PROJECT OFFICER – CASH TRANSFER
PURPOSE
Being responsible for planning, directing, and implementing the cash transfer component of a humanitarian project, the incumbent will, among other things, facilitate processes of beneficiary selection, conducting market and related assessments, identifying and liaising with appropriate delivery channels, supervising processes of cash transfer, maintaining and reporting on records of distribution, conducting post distribution monitoring, and backstopping those involved in the process.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Qualification – BA/B.Sc degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration Sociology, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Experience – 3 years of relevant experience in a rural/pastoral area context.

3. PROJECT COORDINATOR – HUMANITARIAN
PURPOSE
The purpose of the position is, in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders, to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise the implementation of a humanitarian project to which he/she is assigned. Among other things, the incumbent will manage the human, material, and financial resources of the project, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, and facilitates project interventions ensuring
the enforcement of humanitarian principles, standards, and values.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Qualification – M.Sc/B.Sc in Development Studies, DRR, Economics, Sociology, or related fields.
- Experience – At least4/ 6 years relevant experience. Direct experience in the coordination of humanitarian interventions in
NGO environment and pastoral/agropastoral context advantageous.
