Job Purpose
To support the decision-making process of Management and other stakeholders by delivering accurate and timely financial data.
Location: Chora (Illubabor Zone)
Duties and Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions and accounts in line with company policies and procedures.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.

Organize, file, and safeguard financial source documents.
-
Prepare and maintain monthly bank account records, reconciliations, and accounting documentation.
-
Accurately record revenues, expenses, accruals, and adjustments.
-
Post transactions to the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
-
Record, correct, and adjust journal entries, and prepare the trial balance.
-
Collect and file financial documents from various units, reconcile daily records, and prepare proof sheets with supporting documents.

Maintain tracers for all suspense accounts and ensure totals agree with the respective general ledger balances.

Prepare and submit accurate, complete, and timely periodic financial statements for review.

Identify and code all financial documents according to the company’s chart of accounts.

Organize, file, and maintain financial source documents.

Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications & Education
-
BA or MA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience
-
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Skills
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and related tools.
