Providing ethical and anti-corruption training and monitoring the effectiveness of the training
- Corruption investigation
- Investigating corruption and ethical violations
- Investigates cases of fraud, corruption, theft, breach of trust, etc. and reports the findings to the department.
- Organizes information, provides information, and appears as a witness in court for further investigation of individuals suspected of corruption, theft, or fraud.
- Controlling conflict of interest
- Identify and manage potential conflicts of interest within the organization;
- Establish ethical standards to prevent conflicts of interest;
- Maintain public trust by preventing situations where decisions involving government resources are influenced by personal interests and desires;
- Protect the organization’s reputation;
- Asset registration and verification
- Support and monitor the management and employees of Ethiopian Post to register their assets and properties online to prevent corruption and malpractice
- Collecting information to verify the accuracy of assets registered during asset registration
- Corruption Risk Management
- Identifying work areas vulnerable to corruption and providing preventive measures and recommendations
- To prevent corruption before it occurs and improve the system by identifying those vulnerable to corruption through research
- Monitoring compliance with government procedures and regulations
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies related to ethics and anti-corruption.
