Droga Pharma PLC has a strong presence in the Ethiopian pharmaceutical market and has established partnerships with bio-pharmaceutical companies. The company is currently expanding by establishing a chain of pharmacies nationwide.
📝 Key Responsibilities

Implement good dispensing practices for OTC and prescription-only medicines.

Ensure accurate dispensing aligned with prescriber intent and patient safety.

Confirm the right patient receives the right medicine with maintained quality and integrity.

Provide correct instructions for safe and effective medication use.

Educate patients on usage, warnings, adverse effects, and required actions.

Review and update patient personal and medication history, especially for chronic conditions.

Communicate with prescribers when clarification or intervention is required.

Minimize dispensing errors and ensure clear, legible labeling.

Verify prescription legality, completeness, correctness, and therapeutic appropriateness.

Report suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs), fake, or substandard medicines.

Order, stock, and manage prescription and OTC medications.

Comply with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.

Adhere to pharmacy operational procedures including opening, closing, inventory, and record-keeping.

Promptly report incidents or errors and take corrective action.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and ethically.
👤 About You

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy

0–1 year of experience in dispensing

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for order processing and tracking
